The woman who caused a disturbance on a plane at the Saskatoon Airport last night (Thurs) is connected to a liberal senator from Manitoba.

Maygan Sensenberger was in court this morning, after allegedly threatening passengers, swearing, and arguing with her husband, 69 year old Rod Zimmer.

Zimmer was appointed to the Canadian Senate in 2005.

The woman in her late 20's will return to court on Monday, and is charged with endangering safety of an aircraft and cause disturbance.

She will remain in custody over the weekend.
