Mayoral candidate Tom Wolf is responding to incumbent Don Atchison's road repair goals for Saskatoon. Wolf says Atchison's cosmetics approach to fixing the city's roads is unacceptable, saying the 25 million dollar road repair budget goal he set will just lead to more band-aids that will cost taxpayers more in the long run. Wolf says if elected, he will pull money out of the gas tax reserves to address structural problems, and to double Atchison's 25 million dollar road budget goal. Atchison has responded to Wolf and third mayor candidate Clay Mazurkewich's larger road repair budgets. He says those numbers aren't realistic for next year without a tax hike.
