The Children's Wish Foundation is holding a fundraising walk today (Sat) to help grant future wishes to sick kids. It's taking place nation-wide, but specifically at 6 locations in Saskatchewan, including Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Melfort, Lloydminster, and Yorkton. People wishing to participate can register online at www.wishmaker.ca or by showing up to the event an hour early. In Saskatoon, the walk starts at 11 am at the Nobel Plaza on the University of Saskatchewan campus, with a barbecue lunch to follow. This year marks the 8th time the walk has taken place, and last year 1 million dollars was raised across Canada. (jl oct 13/12) Share: ![]() Tweet
