A vehicle had to be pulled out of the South Saskatchewan River yesterday afternoon (Sun). Canoeists reported seeing what they thought was the roof of a vehicle under water, and it turned out it was an SUV. Divers determined that the vehicle submerged in 14 feet of water about 60 feet off the west riverbank, had no one inside. Divers hooked the SUV to a tow truck and pulled it from the river. Saskatoon police were on scene to collect evidence and to take possession of it. No more details are being released at this time. (jl oct 8/12) Share: ![]() Tweet
