The University of Saskatchewan holds its Fall Convocation Saturday.

994 students received their degrees.

Douglas Cardinal, a Canadian architect born of Metis and Blackfoot heritage will receive an honorary Doctor of Letters this afternoon.

Ilene Busch-Vishniac will be attending her first convocation ceremony as president and vice-chancellor.

She will be installed as president at a ceremony Saturday morning.
