Saskatoon Police say two girls were followed by a suspicious male last night (Mon).

The incident happened just before midnight, when two girls, aged 9 and 12 years old were walking down 33rd Street near Avenue P.

The girls say a man in a white extended cab truck began following them.

At one point the man got out of the truck, but when the girls confronted him he drove off.

The man is described as being in his 30s, and was last seen wearing a ball cap.

Police would like to remind the public to walk in pairs or groups if possible, stay in well lit and populated areas while walking, and not to approach strange vehicles if someone stops and attempts to speak to you.

If anyone has information, they're asked to call police.
