A 20 year old man is in custody facing aggravated assault charges after an incident on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation. Paramedics were called out to the First Nation and found a 22 year old man suffering from a number of lacerations.

Mounties found the 20 year old suspect, who had barricaded himself in a home. RCMP were able to keep in contact with the suspect, and eventually got him to come out of the home without incident.

The investigation continues.
