The Circle Drive South Project remains under construction as long as weather will allow.
Despite a sunny and dry September, wet weather and ground conditions from May and June have significantly offset the construction schedule.
All the City is saying at this point is they will continue to review the options with respect to getting the project open this fall, but any decision will be made from a safety and practicality standpoint.
The City wants to make sure that any opening does not have a detrimental effect on public safety; nor does the City want to create additional delays in getting the project ultimately completed.
The City can levy a charge of ten thousand dollars for every day the project is late, but at this point, city manager, Murray Totland is saying, the City has not had those discussions with Graham Flatiron yet.
And, he says contractual details are not subject to public discussion or disclosure. Share: ![]() Tweet
