A single vehicle collision near Shell Lake has sent four people to hospital.

The accident happened at about 2:30 this morning (Sat) on the 790 Grid Northeast of Shell Lake.

Spiritwood ambulance transported 2 men and 2 women to Shellbrook hospital, for injuries ranging from minor to serious.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor, charges are pending, and the investigation continues.
