The president of the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies has died. Randell Morris passed away unexpectedly today (Tues). Morris had been with SIIT for 20 years and was President and CEO of the institution for the past five years. Advanced Education Minister Don Morgan says he will be remembered for his strong leadership in the education, training and workforce development of First Nations people in Saskatchewan. He said Randell was instrumental in partnering with the provincial government in the expansion of SIIT's programs including the highly successful Construction Careers projects and the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program.
