A scare on Highway 16 near Humboldt as a pickup truck collided with a semi at around 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The semi was hauling grain trailers West on on Highway 16 when an East bound pickup truck swerved into his lane, just missing a head on collision but still striking the trailers. The truck then entered the ditch about 1 kilometre West of the Highway 20 junction. The 42 year old man from Guelph, Ontario was soon taken to hospital in Saskatoon but the extent of his injuries are undetermined. The semi driver had no injuries, but police did seize a small amount of marijuana from the other man's truck. The investigation continues but no charges have yet been laid.
