On the pebbled ice:
The Canadian Junior Women's and Men's Curling Championships continue today and run through Sunday in Fort MacMurray, Alberta. Saskatchewan is represented by Jessica Hanson's Saskatoon-Granite foursome in the junior women's division. On the junior men's side, by the Brady Scharback quartet from the Saskatoon-Sutherland club. Both squads were unable to make the playoffs...
The Affinity Credit Union-Senior Men's Northern and Southern regional playdowns continues today and runs through Sunday. The Northerns have 16 teams taking part in Outlook with draws today at 10 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m. The Southerns have 16 teams taking part in Moosomin with draws today at 10 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m. Both regionals are modified triple knock-out formats with four teams from each advancing to the provincial championship.
The Provincial Mixed Doubles Championship continues today and runs through Sunday in Regina. A total of 11 teams are taking part, split into two pools for round-robin playoffs. Draws today at 10:30 a.m., 3, 7 and 9 p.m.

Sask Volleyball and the Waldheim Raiders Sask Volleyball Club are hosting the 1st Annual Jordan Zacharias Memorial Volleyball Classic starting today, ending tomorrow at the Hank Ruys Soccer Centre. 29 female teams participating 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sunday.
