A second person has been charged in the death of 22 year old Mervin McAdam, back in February of this year.

18 year old Shelby Pinnell has been charged this morning (Wed) with second degree murder, and causing an indignity to a body.

Another 18 year old man from Saskatoon was charged with the murder of McAdam back in July.

On February 26th, Saskatoon Police and Saskatoon Fire were called out to a dumpster fire in an alley off of Avenue S South/

The body of Mervin McAdam was found at the scene.

Pinnell was already in custody at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre for other serious unrelated charges that included 2 counts of attempted murder, and posessing a sawed off shotgun.

Outside of court, Pinnell's mother, Sarah was shocked at her son's charges and stated he nothing to do with it at all.

He appears back in court September 12th.
