On August 4th and 5th, Saskatoon will host the Canada Remembers Our Heroes Air Show.

Like last year, the event will be held in the skies above Auto Clearing Motor Speedway.

Also like last year, the show features the Canadian Forces' SnowBirds and SkyHawks, as well as the the CF-18 Hornet.

There are less than 80 CF-18 jets in Canada's air force. And Captain Patrick Gobeil flew one of them over the skies of Saskatoon yesterday (fri).

Gobeil will be a key piece of next weekend's Canada Remembers Our Heroes Air Show.

Saskatchewan will actually be home to a pair of air shows that weekend. On Sunday, August 5th, Prince Albert will host the Centennial of Flight Air Show at the P-A airport.
