Saskatoon is joining 59 other communities across Canada for the 2012 CIBC Run for the Cure.

All money raised will stay in the province to go towards breast cancer research.

The start of the run takes place at 10 this morning (Sun) but people can register beginning at 8 o'clock at Prairieland Park.

All adults have to either raise 150 dollars to participate or pay the 40 dollar entry fee.

Youth under 18 have to raise at least 60 dollars or pay the 40 dollars to enter.

Last year, over 30 million dollars was raised for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and over 170 thousand people participated nation-wide.
