Due to a Saskatoon RCMP involved shooting near Clavet earlier Friday, Regina Police will be investigating the incident. Regina Police officers were en route to the scene around 5 p-m Friday and it was expected that motorists could experience delays in the area for the next several hours.
Meanwhile, the spring melt has caused the first flooding to affect a significant provincial highway. Highway 2 about 14 kilometres south of Moose jaw reported water on the road with flag persons on-scene on Friday afternoon. The Highway Hotline reports water was removed from the road by Friday evening.
Water on the road was also reported Friday evening on Highway 334 near Weyburn approximately 43 kilometres north of Junction 13 to Junction 339. As well there was water on the road reported on Highway 28 about 3 kilometres south of Junction 377 to 35 kilometres north of Junction 18.
