Another new face is on its' way to Riderville.

Prior to taking the field for a rare evening training camp work out the Saskatchewan Roughriders announced that they had acquired offensive lineman Chirs Patrick from Toronto in exchange for a conditional Canadian College draft pick.

Patrick, a 6'5", 300 pounder dressed in 11 regular season games for the Edmonton Eskimos last season. He started ten games at right tackle along with the West Semi-Final and West Final.

That first game is coming up Wednesday when the team will open up their pre-season schedule in Vancouver.  Receiver Chris Getzlaf likely won't get a chance to play in the contest that is generally reserved for rookies. However, he says that he is ready to go this year and has some high personal expectations.

CJWW, your voice of the Riders, will have all of the action from BC Wednesday starting with our comprehensive pre-game coverage at 6-30.
