Crews are a bit ahead of schedule on the repair of the Diefenbaker Bridge in Prince Albert.

Work is one day ahead, so the schedule has been reworked.

Both northbound lanes are closed for street repair and work on the centre girders until the end of the day tomorrow (Sat).

Starting Sunday morning at 8 until the end of the workday on August 2nd, the southbound lanes will be closed.

There will be no lane closure from August 3rd to 6th for the long weekend, then it's back to work on the southbound lanes on August 7th.

A news release from the City of Prince Albert says it is expected that bridge work will be ongoing until late fall, with lane closure through the months of August and September.
