Regina police are investigating an alleged abuse and neglect case against two young children. Police were called to a Queen City hospital just after midnight last night (Wed) for a report of a four year-old girl who'd been brought to hospital in an unresponsive state. The child was revived but remains in hospital in critical condition. A preliminary investigation indicated the child is the victim of abuse and neglect. Two caregivers to the child, a 35 year-old woman and a 37 year-old man, were taken into custody at the hospital. In the course of the investigation, police learned that the child has a two year-old sibling, and that toddler was located, taken to hospital and it's believed she too is also a victim of abuse and neglect. Charges against the 35 year-old female and 37 year-old male are pending. Share: ![]() Tweet
