Around 2:30 yesterday (Fri) RCMP were called to the scene of an accident on Highway 11 where one of their members was hit.

Police say the member involved in the accident was attending to a single vehicle rollover south of Chamberlain on Highway 11 when the collision occurred.

The officer's condition is unknown, but he was taken by STARS air ambulance to a hospital in Regina.

Traffic will be affected on Highway 11 northbound until further notice and people are asked to avoid the area if possible while traffic is routed around the scene.
