There will be a Saskatchewan flavour to the National Women's Basketball team.

Huskie Head Coach Lisa Thomaidis will again serve as an assistant on the national senior team. As well, U of S assistant coach and former player, Jacqueline Lavalle has been named as an assistant on the women's developmental team. In addition, former Huskie and Canada West all time leading scoring Sarah Crooks has been invited to an invitational try-out to compete for a spot on the senior or developmental team.
