crime prison escape

A prisoner at Prince Albert's Riverbend Institution has escaped.

It's believed Sheldon Durocher broke out of the minimum security prison at around 8:30 Friday night but police don't know for sure what direction he travelled.

The 33 year old is originally from the Meadow Lake area so police suspect he could be there or headed in that direction.

He's described as aboriginal, 6 foot 1, 275 pounds, with a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Crimestoppers or Prince Albert RCMP.
