Premier Brad Wall has been "tweeting" about drivers not obeying orange zone laws.

RCMP have handed out tickets at the site where 18 year old Ashley Richards was killed last week on the job as a flag person north of Midale.

She was hit by a northbound vehicle.

Premier Wall tweets that he is angry to learn from the owner of the construction company where Richards worked that drivers are still not obeying orange zone laws, and then he says in capital letters "SLOW DOWN. NO PASSING."

He has asked both the Highways and the Justice Minister to work with police and stakeholders to canvas for any an all ideas to improve orange zone safety.

Ashley Dawn Richards was on her first day of work when she was hit and killed by a 44 year old man in an SUV.

Richards was pregnant at the time, and died in her fiancee's arms.
