There are still a few openings for Phase 2 of College Quarter if you know a university student looking for a home.

Director of Consumer Services at the U of S, martin Gonzalez De Souza, says as of last Friday there were 30 beds available, but he expects those will fill up quickly.

Phase 2 is brand new, and includes 400 new beds in mostly 4-bedroom apartments.

De Souza says they are just doing some last minute cleaning and preparing of the residences, and then they will be ready for students next week.

Between Phase 1 and 2, there are now 800 new beds on campus.

De Souza says before College Quarter, they were housing about 6 per cent of the students on campus, and now with the new development, they are at 12 per cent.

More beds are coming on stream in January.

A Grad House with 262 beds specifically for graduate students will be ready to go, also in College Quarter.
