Day one of part two of Saskatchewan Roughrider Training Camp will take to the field this morning at the University of Regina. Head Coach Corey Chamblin says they are moving forward from Wednesday's 44-10 loss to B-C. Chamblin points out that they have to make cuts Saturday and they don't want to just cut guys based on performance in practice, you want to see how they play in a game. Now as far as what the team can take away from the loss Chamblin says there were some rough patches especially in the secondary. But he was also quick to point out that there were some bright spots as well. Quarterback Darian Durant saw those positives too and notes although it didn't show up on the scoreboard, they did a lot of things well. He says it was a good opportunity to look at the film, learn from it and move on. On the field, last night, Winnipeg opened their pre-season with a 22-10 win over Montreal. Bloi-Dei Dorzon scored the Bombers' only touchdown on a 37-yard run. Travon Patterson caught a touchdown pass for the Alouettes. Neither team used its starting quarterback, Anthony Calvillo for Montreal or Buck Pierce for the Bombers.
