The October land sale brought in 15.2 million dollars to the province's coffers. The government says the highlight of the sale of Crown petroleum and natural gas rights was the intense competition for Viking Sand lease parcels in West-Central Saskatchewan. To date, total land sale revenues for 2012 are resting at 94.2 million dollars. Last year at this time the October land sale rang in at 13.1 million as compared to the big year we saw in 2010 when the province raked in 34.5 million and the 32.4 million we saw in October 2009. The next sale of Crown Petroleum and natural gas - and oil sands dispositions - will be be December 3rd. Share: ![]() Tweet
