Nominations are now open for this year's civic election in Saskatoon.  Starting today (Tues), the City Clerk's Office will be accepting nominations from 8 until 5, every weekday, until September 18th, and until 4 pm on the 19th.

To send in a nomination, 1 hundred dollars in cash, a cheque, or a money order is required.

25 municipal elector signatures are needed for mayor nominations, 25 ward elector signatures are needed for councillors, and 10 ward elector signatures are needed for the public school board.

A daily list of nominations received will be posted at the end of every weekday on the city's website. Election Day takes place October 24th.
