The provincial NDP party nominated a couple of candidates for next year's provincial elections over the weekend. Janice Bernier, who works with the Saskatchewan film and music industries will run for the party in the riding of Batoche, and former school principal and assistant Deputy Minister of Education Ivan Yackel will represent the NDP in Melfort. The party says it has 30 candidates nominated and ready for the provincial election in 2011.
