Despite an average tuition increase of 4 point 4 per cent at the University of Saskatchewan, enrollment at the facility is at an all time high.

It's increased by 3 and a half per cent to nearly 21 thousand students.

The colleges which are seeing the highest increases in enrollment are nursing, arts and science, engineering, agriculture and bioresources and graduate studies and research.

According to the University, a year long recruitment campaign in Alberta contributed to a 35 per cent increase in new students from that province.
