Drivers heading east on the Trans Canada near Chaplin can expect construction, as new activity ramps up. The Ministry of Highways has announced a $3.5 million dollar paving project, on about 10 kilometres of roadway. Highway 1 isn't the only road getting some work done to it this week. Crews will be out on Highway 2, north of Wakaw for patching. Some paving work will begin on Highway 8 near Langenburg, as well as Highway 22 near Esterhazy. [ED Aug 8/12] Share: ![]() Tweet
