Three children, and an 18 year old woman were killed in a collision involving a van and a train. It happened Thursday about 5 kilometers east of Broadview at an uncontrolled crossing on a grid road just south of Highway 1. A 7 year old boy and his 11 year old sister were killed. They are the children of a 42 year old woman who was injured in the crash. Her 15 year old son, who was driving, was severely injured. They are all from Turner Valley Alberta. The 18 year old woman who was killed was from the Whitewood District. Another 11 year old girl was also killed. She was from Chestermere Alberta. Names have not been released.
