The University of Saskatchewan is off to a good start at the CIS Women's Basketball Championships in Hamilton, Ontario.

The Dogs outscored Cape Breton in all four quarters for a 70-54 victory.  The scoring was equally distributed between three players.  Jill Humbert had 20 . . . with Lindsay DeGroot and Kim Tullock each chipping in 19 points.

Saskatchewan will face the University Windsor in the semi-finals on Saturday afternoon.
