The Regina media reported that former Winnipeg and Calgary linebacker Joe Lobendahn was at Saskatchewan Roughriders practice today in sweats. Should he pass a physical tomorrow, he will sign with the Green and White.

Elsewhere, one U of S grad returned to practice while two other Huskie alums were sidelined. Offensive tackle Patrick Neufeld participated after missing Saturday's loss to Calgary. But, guard Ben Heenan, who wasn't in uniform Saturday, and running back Graeme Bell watched.

Meanwhile, the search for answers to a lot of questions is underway following their fifth consecutive loss. Quarterback Darian Durant held a players only meeting after the practice today. The only C-F-L team with a worse record than the 3-5 Riders pays their annual Labour Day Weekend visit Sunday. Saskatchewan and 2-6 Winnipeg kick-off at 2 p.m.
