It will soon be a little more tame inside Saskatoon's zoo.

The 4 lions are heading east.

Dobi and Cooey, the 2 parents -- along with their cubs Nathan and Shadow -- are heading to a zoo in Ontario.

The older lions were on loan from separate zoos in Alberta and Ontario, but will stay together along with their cubs.

City of Saskatoon Leisure Services Manager Carey Humphrey says the zoo manager is already travelling, looking for a replacement exhibit.

In the meantime, he says the cougars will take centre stage in the PotashCorp Ark Exhibit.

The lions will remain at the zoo until some time in November, and the zoo remains open from 10 until 4 daily.

Plus zoo keepers will offer a special question and answer session from 1 thirty to 2 thirty each day over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend, at the lions exhibit.
