If you haven't been to the Saskatoon Ex yet this year, you've got one more chance. If you're planning to go, though, organizers suggest taking public tansit or car pooling. Yesterday a record 55 thousand 400 people went through the gates, causing all sorts of traffic problems. Carl Schlosser, Prairieland Park spokesperson, says they have quite a few new features this year, including "It's A Candy Nation". He says it's a celebration of candy that goes back to its beginnings and how different candies are manufactured and the technology involved. The biggest highlight though, is probably the candy store at the end of it. Today is the finals for the chuckwagon races at Marquis Downs, and at the Grandstand: the strongman competition and a demolition derby. It's also "Share the Fair" Sunday. Ages 60 and over are admitted free when accompanied by a family member, and children 10 and under can ride all the rides all day for 20 dollars. oem softwareShare: ![]() Tweet
