A 23 year old Kamsack resident is facing numerous charges after Kamsack RCMP received a complaint of an assault with a weapon. The incident happened last Sunday afternoon. Police found their suspect, Jeffrey Kyle Kayseas on the Keeseekoose First Nation. Police allege Kayseas was carrying cannabis and prescription pills. He is facing drug charges along with assault with a weapon and assaulting a police officer. He has been remanded in custody until he appears in court on the 14th. [gw aug 8 2012]
