It's my Parting Shot for my reactions to the headlines in today's Star-Phoenix Sports Section.....

First headline...Burris a very happy Tabby. My reaction...If "Smilin Hank" plays like "Smilin Hank" on Saturday, the Green and White are in for a long day. Henry's 27-of-30 passing day last week against Montreal shows that he still has it and that Calgary may have made a hasty decision getting rid of him. With Hamilton, he has as many dangerous receiving weapons as he ever had with the Stampeders and the Riders are going to need to be ready!

Next headline...Tailback Sheets has 100-yard game in his sights. Reaction...He may need to on Saturday. After being waffled 43-16 in the first game of the season, Hamilton will be out to make amends against the Riders, especially by playing better pass defence as opposed to giving up almost 400 yards through the air with most of that through Weston Dressler!

Last headline...coaching rekindles Olympic flame, Thomaidis at Games as a coach. My reaction...No disrespect intended, but as much as the Huskie women's basketball team coach believes that coaching is the next best thing to competing at the Olympics, it is the competitors that make the Olympics special! Hence, if Canada's women's hoopsters do well, and Saskatoon's Krista Phillips has anything to do with it, she'll get the air time and ink ahead of coach Thomaidis because that is the nature of the beast that is the Olympics!

That's my Parting Shot, I'm Les Lazaruk.
