A win felt like a loss Friday night because history almost repeated itself for the Saskatoon Blades. The Bridge City Bunch took a 4-0 lead into the third period, only to hold on for a 4-3 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors. Last season, the Blades had an 18-game winning streak ended at Mosaic Place when the Tribe rallied from 4-0 down after 40 minutes to win 5-4 in overtime. Last Saturday, Swift Current came back from a 5-1 deficit after two periods to out-score Saskatoon 7-6 in regulation time. On this occasion, the Blades got goals from Nick Zajac, Collin Valcourt,  Brett Stovin and Nathan Burns and appeared ready to coast to victory. But, the team discipline fell apart in the third period as Moose Jaw scored once on five power play chances in the first 18-and-a-half minutes before scoring two goals in the final two minutes and storming the Saskatoon net in the final 34 seconds looking for the tying goal, only to be repelled by Alex Moodie. The final shots on goal tally was 42-30 for the 6-11-4 winless in five games and winless in their last eight home games. The 9-10-2 Bridge City Bunch host Moose Jaw to complete a home-and-home series and a string of three games-in-three nights Saturday. Game time is 7:05 at Credit Union Centre with the broadcast on 92-9, THE BULL at 6:30. Following is the official game summary...
