Saskatoon police were forced to destroy an ill and injured coyote in Saskatoon yesterday.

The animal reported to be injured and acting aggressive towards neighborhood residents in the 500 Block of Budz Crescent.

At around 11:30 am, an Animal Destruction Specialist confirmed that the coyote was suffering from a broken leg and was already infected.

The animal was euthanized with a small caliber firearm to prevent unnecessary suffering.
