There were two fatal accidents early this afternoon (Fri).

The first call came in just before one o'clock that there had been a fatal two vehicle accident near Moosomin in southeast Saskatchewan.

Although the age of the deceased hasn't been released, police say it was a woman who died.

She was the lone occupant of a car that collided with a semi at an intersection on the TransCanada Highway.

The second accident happened about ten minutes later north of Balgonie, which is east of Regina.

RCMP say a man, whose car ended up in a slough died in the crash.

He was the lone occupant of the car.

Police say the other vehicle was an SUV and from that vehicle a woman and a 17 year old were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.
