One of the most prominent 'naysayers' on the issue of climate change says the hundreds of millions of dollars that are being spent on carbon capture technology in Saskatchewan is largely a waste of money.
Dennis Avery of the Hudson Institute spoke in Regina last night [thurs]. He also says investments in wind power are of questionable value and points out that Denmark is a world leader in wind turbines and has decommissioned none of its fossil fuel capacity.
Avery was written several books in which he argues that there's no proof that global warming is actually taking place. [ckrm mar 19 2010]
