Image The Saskatoon Blades will finish the season as the number 9 ranked team in the nation. The final CHL top 10rankings came out yesterday.

In addition, the WHL named their Eastern Conference Award nominees yesterday. And surprisingly no member of the Blades cracked the list or was named an all star. However, Saskatoon's Brayden Schenn, who plays for Brandon, was named to the first team, and the Bridge City's Darcy Kuemper a goaltender with Red Deer was a second team all star.
