The First Nations University of Canada may keep it's doors open after all. After meeting with Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations Chief Guy Lonechild last night in Saskatoon, Advanced Education Minister Rob Norris admitted today that a new deal between the FSIN and province is in the works. Norris wouldn't go into details but admits they discussed the possibility of handing funding to the University of Regina and they can manage the aboriginal school. Norris says specific details of the potential deal will take some time.
