On the pebbled ice, Davidson's Pat Simmons is on a roll... He has knocked off the No. 2 and 3 seeds in the men's competition at the Canadian Olympic curling pre-trials. He'll need to play giant-killer one more time to secure the first available spot for next month's Olympic trials in Edmonton.

He'll face top seed Jeff Stoughton later today.

Meanwhile, Moose Jaw's Joel Jordison is down to his final life at the event when he plays in the C-Quarter this afternoon.

On the women's side, Delisle's Sherry Anderson will play Regina's Amber Holland in a B quarter-final later this morning. While, Michelle Englot plays Sherry Middaugh in a C Quarter today.
