The Highway Traffic Board will be dealing with complaints about limos being used as taxis in Saskatoon.
The city got some complaints about United Cabs dispatching luxury cars like taxis. Limos have more restrictions than cabs, and can only be pre-booked.
A city report says an investigation was done, and no dispatching equipment or meters were found in the limos.
City Treasurer Shelley Sutherland wrote the report, she says the issues fall under the operating authority, which is given by the Highway Traffic Board. A full review of the operating authority is underway by the board.
