There are a couple of telephone based, credit card fraud schemes happening that you need to be aware of.

Saskatoon city police say, in the first scam, you are told that your credit card has been compromised. Then you're asked for card information in order to confirm that fraud has occurred.

The second scheme involves a company claiming to represent Visa and Mastercard. You are told you've won a trip and they need your credit card information to process the prize.

Police are reminding us to never to give out credit card information over the phone.
