Scott Thompson of St. Walburg, Jim Born and Shawn Loney...both of Lloydminster...and Tyler Frank of Saskatoon will make up Saskatchewan's team for the Canadian Men's Amateur Championship next month in Quebec. Thompson won the Saskatchewan Men's Amateur title today in Lloydminster...carding a final round 74 for a 72-hole total of one-over-par 289. That was three better than Born while Loney was another stroke back at 293. Will Parker of Edmonton was fourth at 294, but since he's not eligible for the Saskatchewan team, that allowed Frank to get aboard with his 295 total...two shots better than defending champion David Stewart of Prince Albert. He shot the day's best round...a two-under-par 70.
