The death toll from the H1N1 flu in the province has risen to two.
A man in his 70's is the second Saskatchewan resident to die from the virus.
A woman in her 40's died from the H1N1 flu over the weekend.
The province's Chief Medical Health Officer, Dr. Moira McKinnon says they were expecting deaths to result from this strain of the flu.
Both of the victims were suffering from an underlying health condition.
Other than the two who have now succumbed to the H1N1 flu, all other cases of it have been mild.
There are 7 hundred and 39 confirmed cases in Saskatchewan.
