The CFL's mandatory cut-down has come and gone leaving some big names in it's wake.

In Riderville, 15 players were given their pink slips; including veteran defensive lineman Seantae Williams, quarterback Juan Joseph and Saskatoon Hilltop offensive lineman Brad Peters.

Head Coach Ken Miller says that cut-down day never gets any easier.

Elsewhere in the league, Montreal released former Rider linebacker Reggie Hunt, Toronto dropped Running-Back Tyler Ebell and Winnipeg cut tail back Joe Smith.

AND Miller admitted that they were keeping an eye on other teams cuts.

The Riders will now shift their attention to the B-C Lions whom they open the regular season against at Mosaic Stadium next Friday.
