Image Credit Union Centre is hoping that a hockey game will no longer be a smashing experience. Following frequent delays due to broken glass, eight panes broken in total so far this year. The building is undergoing a complete evaluation of their first generation seamless glass system. This has included replacing old gaskets that are used to keep the glass in place, consulting with the boards originial manufacturer and examining their own protocol for converting the facility from hockey to concerrt set-ups... AND while there has been a marked improvement after they were swapped in the West end of the arena, Terry Massey the Event and Operations Manager at C-U-C says they aren't stopping there....
